For recertification purposes, you will need to make the transition from ISO: 2008 to ISO 9001:2015, and it may seem like a daunting task. Step 1 – Get an Overview

It gives you adequate time, if you start now, to ensure that the transition is made by then. Keep in mind that the transition deadline can be earlier, based on your certification body’s regulations. Understand when transition audits must be made. You will need to set dates for the audits, with consideration for time needed to address appropriate changes. Step 2 – Get the Standard
Knowledge is power. It might be a cliché, but it is still true, and the best thing to do is to get the source document to ensure that you understand the new structure requirements. Order the standard and supporting documents to keep at the office and study it. Better yet, make sure your executive managers, quality control officers, everyone involved in the development and implementation of the new standard, and audit teams undergo training in ISO 9001:2015.
